Join us for a hands-on natural building course in the heart of queer rural Portugal. At Vale das Borboletas, we explore how building with earth, straw, wood, and reclaimed materials can be both practical and deeply connected to the land.
This course is for anyone curious about sustainable construction, communal living, and reclaiming the knowledge of building with our hands. Over several days, we’ll learn basic techniques like cob, adobe, earth plastering, and natural insulation — all within the rhythm of our off-grid village life.
